Scots are about to take the biggest decision of their lives in 300 hundred years, a vote on Independence from the U.K.
The referendum question will be “Should Scotland be an independent country?”. Voters can only answer yes or no.
All residents in Scotland aged 16 or over can vote, that means over 4 million people.
Recent statistics show that yes might win.
While British PM David Cameron keeps fighting to avoid secession, Alex Salmond, the Scot leading the battle for independence, thinks the Brits are panicked.
Let me remind you that Scotland together with England, Wales and Northern Ireland form the United Kingdom of Great Britain. If yes wins, that will change forever.
Whatever happens, the future of Scotland is in Scotland´s hands.
The aim of this blog is to offer you a different tool to keep in touch with English while enjoying one of your favourite activities, the Internet. All the teachers at the bilingual section and others who would like to collaborate will be posting here resources and information related to the topics studied at school. Of course, most of it, if not all, will be in English!!! But don´t panick! We won´t be evaluating you on that. It´s just for fun!
We hope you´ll find it useful and entertaining. If it also helps you to improve your English, we´ll be delighted.
